More wooden stuff - The Ashmolean re-opens 10th August

This lovely image is from the cover to the catalogue which includes a number of works that aren’t in the exhibition and it is definitely worth purchasing. A superb overview of the art of wood engraving.

The exhibition, Scene Through Wood, opens at the Ashmolean on 10th August but currently they have not confirmed the closing date. I believe it is expected to be sometime in November.
