Greece is the word

We spent a week on the island of Skiathos in the group of islands called the Northern Sporades. This is a little sketchbook watercolour I made of a hillside seen from Skiathos Town. It was so hot when I was painting this that the paint dried virtually as soon as it touched the paper. It didn’t help that the paper in my new sketchbook is not very well sized so it tends to suck up the paint.
