This set of prints for the Postcard Project used the blocks cut for my ‘Obtuse Landscapes’ series and recut them. The idea for them came from the ubiquity of fragments of Roman remains wherever you go in Italy and also in the way your eye jumps from object to object when viewing a scene. The prints each combine two of the blocks in the series with no duplication of combinations.
